2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Maverick Noir Frost Paint Pricing Revealed

Posted on

The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is offered in an exclusive matte black color known as Maverick Noir Frost, as Cadillac Society reported last year. The luxury marque has just released the first photos of the limited edition colors, along with availability details. And now, Cadillac Society have learned exactly how much a spooky hue will return an interested customer.

Maverick Noir Frost (paint code GNW) will cost an additional $8,120 for the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing in the US, according to a source familiar with the matter. That makes it the most expensive paint option offered on the super sedan – whose starting price is already steep at $90,995 – and its very limited availability overall means it will be a rare sight to see on the road. In fact, Maverick Noir costs more than double the $3,925 price of Dark Emerald Frost, which is a limited edition matte finish for the 2022 CT5-V Blackwing.

The luxury marque states that Maverick Noir Frost will be available for the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing from Spring 2023. A selection of premium colors can be matched to specific interior colorways, including:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Natural Tan with Jet Black accents
  • Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents

Cadillac notes that special care is required to keep the matte Maverick Noir Frost looking sharp.

Riding on the Alpha 2 platform, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing produces 669 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque thanks to the luxury marque’s 6.2L supercharged V8 engine (production code LT4). All of that power is channeled exclusively through the two rear wheels via a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic. Production of the super sedan takes place at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
