2023 Chevrolet Colorado Prices Start At $32,190, Production Begins Q1 2023

Starting prices for the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado are in, and they’re slightly more expensive than the previous generation. His entry point is now over $30,000 – $30,695 to be specific. Add in the $1,495 mandatory destination fee and the total price goes up to $32,190.

That’s a $4,560 increase compared to the entry-level Colorado for 2022, but in all fairness to Chevrolet, you’re getting a lot more trucks for 2023. All of the Colorado is now a crew cab with a short box in the rear, regardless of trim. There is also one engine, a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder but available in three power levels. The base WT starts with 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque, spinning only the rear wheels. A 2022 model with similar specs will cost just over $30,000, so an apples-to-apples comparison suggests a year-over-year increase of around $2,100.

In an e-mail to Motor1.com, a Chevrolet spokesperson stated that the 2023 Colorado price was released to dealers and confirmed the Colorado WT’s starting price at destination cost. Prices for the rest of the Colorado trim have not been officially announced. GM Authority citing anonymous sources stating the 2023 Colorado LT starts at $33,095 in 2WD and $36,395 with 4WD. The Trail Boss starts at $38,495, with the Z71 jumping to $41,395. The Colorado ZR2 starts at $48,295, with the ZR2 Desert Boss priced at $57,590. This price is introductory and does not include destination fees.

Chevrolet is shaking up its mid-size trucks in a big way for 2023, ditching different cab and bed configurations in favor of a one-size-fits-all truck. The 3.6-liter V6 and 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel were also removed from Chevy’s options book, with Chevrolet Colorado Chief Engineer Nick Katcherian saying they weren’t needed. The turbocharged 2.7-liter engine offers slightly more power in base trim than the previous 2.5-liter engine. On its highest notes, the same engine produces 310 hp and 430 pound-feet of torque – outperforming the V6 and diesel in all respects.

The 2023 Chevrolet Colorado enters production in the first quarter of 2023. We will update the article with official prices for other trims as they become available.
