Cadillac Society Take
The substantial increase in Cadillac Canada sales during the fourth quarter of 2022 continued the luxury brand’s positive behavior in the Canadian market, where it accumulated two consecutive quarters of growth thanks to a significant increase in inventory across its local dealer network. The fourth quarter performance allowed Cadillac to end the 2022 calendar year on a green note, both in terms of the quarter and for the full calendar year.
All of the marque’s currently produced models were in the green during the quarter, posting high, double- and triple-digit growth rates. For example, 1,092 shipments of the Cadillac XT4 made it Caddy’s best-selling model, and the model with the highest growth rate in the portfolio. The XT4 was followed by its bigger stablemate, the Cadillac XT5, which ended up another year as the country’s most popular Cadillac nameplate.
It is also important to highlight the healthy improvements posted by the Cadillac Escalade and CT5, both driven by the addition of their respective high-performance variants – the Blackwing Escalade-V and CT5-V, both of which made a healthy impact on their respective vehicle families, increasing demand for the model range. .
