End of year party for Enea Bastianini in San Marino. The pilot says goodbye to the Gresini family, from 2023 the challenge on equal terms with Pecco Bagnaia begins.
The end of the year is approaching, the budgets are tight, it’s time to say goodbye for many riders about to officially change teams. It is the case of Aeneas Bastianini, protagonist of an amazing season punctuated by four victories and two podiums astride the Ducati GP21 of the Gresini Racing team. Nadia Gresini’s “family” team allowed him to make the well-deserved leap in quality that led him to promotion to the factory team.
For five months he experienced a long runoff with Jorge Martin, until at the end of August the top management of Borgo Panigale indicated him as the successor to the outgoing Jack Miller. Thursday evening Enea Bastianini was at Podere Lesignano of San Marino, a well-known venue which was filled up with friends, guests, sponsors, fans of the Fan Club for the occasion, for a surprise party organized by her parents Emilio and Antonella. Also present were inseparable friends and riders Nicolò Bulega, Tatsuki Suzuki and Mattia Casadei.

From next season Enea Bastianini will team up with the world champion I’m sorry Bagnaia. It promises to be a glittering challenge, albeit aimed at collaboration and respect. The president of the Italian Motorcycle Federation is also certain of this, John Copioli: “There will be Marquez who will return but also Bastianini who, having the same bike in the same team, will not want to be number two, so there will be a battle to excel – he told Italpress -. This will be a source of interest that we haven’t experienced since the rivalry between Rossi and Biaggi“.
2023 will be an important year for the 25-year-old driver from Rimini. As a rider of the Lenovo Ducati team he will have to prove that he has what it takes to aim for the world title. On December 15th he attended the world championship party organized by Ducati in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna, to celebrate the victory of the MotoGP title of I’m sorry Bagnaia. With a clear and explicit promise: he wants to be the protagonist on that stage, in the shortest possible time.
