Everrati Automotive, known for its bespoke EV conversions, has expanded its range with zero-emission versions of the Range Rover Classic and Land Rover Defender. More than just an EV powertrain transplant, the Oxfordshire, UK company specializes in turning iconic models, such as the Porsche 911 and Mercedes-Benz SL, into “future-resistant” sustainable vehicles.
The Range Rover Classic and Land Rover Defender follow the success of other Land Rover electric conversions. Built from 1970 to 1996, the Range Rover Classic combines rugged off-road performance with luxury and comfort. It defined the prestige SUV market, becoming a status symbol for wealthy people, including celebrities and royalty. The Land Rover Defender is an update of the 90 and 110 Series, which are modern versions of the Land Rover Series I – III.

Like other high-end custom automakers, Everrati inspects all vehicles, restores them to the highest standards and adapts them to customer requirements. It then installed a new OEM grade three-phase AC motor, single-speed gearbox, and battery pack, optimizing the layout for the best weight distribution. Everrati also claims the electric conversion is fully reversible should owners decide to go back to the original drivetrain.
In addition to the latest EV powertrain technology, Everrati builds all of its vehicles with luxury eco-friendly materials, including the low-carbon skin from Bridge of Weir. It also works with the marque’s specialist partners to incorporate custom designed parts such as gauges and trim to update the vehicle while maintaining a classic aesthetic.
“This vehicle is right in the current zeitgeist; a rolling piece of art that will provide its owner with a clean and distinctive way of traveling and luxury,” said Everrati Founder and CEO Justin Lunny. “This progressive machine will have a legacy, preserved for generations that will be able to continue to use and enjoy it.”
Lunny co-founded Everrati with Nick Williams in 2019 with the vision of restoring the iconic vehicle and turning it into an electric drive. Prices for the Range Rover Classic start at £230,000, which is equal to $278,000 at current exchange rates. Land Rover Defender starts at £185,000 or $223,850. Both prices do not include taxes or the price of the donor vehicle.
