The word “Mustang” has been synonymous with sports cars since Ford introduced the first generation in 1965. The Blue Oval raised more than a few eyebrows in late 2019 when it unveiled the Mach-E, an electric SUV that also sports a pony car. name. This more usable version is now getting two derivatives which is somewhat unexpected as UK-based Coleman Milne is working on a limousine and hearse conversion.
Both rely on a 75.7 kWh battery pack with a usable capacity of 68 kWh and can travel up to 200 miles (322 kilometers) on a single charge. That’s actually slightly down from the official WLTP rating of 273 miles (440 kilometers), though that’s to be expected since limousines and hearses are heavier than standard SUVs. Considering how these vehicles will be used, reduced range shouldn’t be a problem as hearses and limousines usually cover short distances.

The six-door limousine is 6,279 millimeters (247.2 inches) tall and 114 millimeters (4.48 inches) taller than the standard Mustang Mach-E. Optional features include full privacy glass, Perspex driver division screens, and the possibility to lower the glass windows on the center door. Big enough to carry about seven passengers and the driver.
As for the hearse, it offers three full-size carrier seats and has been designed with a flat, full-length deck. It also has a wide skylight and ample space for private tributes. For an additional fee, these can be equipped with electrically operated liftgates, slide out lower decks, illuminated signage and full size slide decks.
Part of the Etive Coleman Milne range, the duo is engineered in a left and right drive configuration. In the following months, it will undergo road testing for a range of 40,000 miles (nearly 65,000 kilometers).
