Year-round celebration for 20th The anniversary of the high-performance Cadillac V-Series vehicles continues with the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, which gets three Mondrian Edition packages. This exclusive package, dubbed the Arrival Edition, Elevation Edition, and Impact Edition, includes unique exterior and interior accents, including a serialized plaque. Under, Cadillac Society details how to read the serial plaque on the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Mondrian Edition.

The first digit on the placard will always be a “4”, indicating that the particular model is part of the No. 1 Collector’s Series. 4, which is the number assigned to the Mondrian Edition package. This is followed by a dash and a “5”, identifying it as a CT4-V Blackwing Special Edition vehicle, followed by a “1” to indicate automatic transmission or a “6” for manual transmission.

After the dash, the next digit indicates which of the three Mondrian Edition packages is equipped with the particular CT4-V Blackwing. Number 1 represents Arrival Edition, 2 for Impact Edition and 3 for Elevation Edition. Finally, the last three digits match the last three VIN CT4-V Blackwing, down to number 066, as only 66 of each Mondrian Edition variant would be made.

The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Mondrian Edition models do not feature any performance improvements over the “regular” model, meaning they retain the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4) in the “regular” CT4-V Blackwing model. Rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, the boosted six can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission as standard or the marque’s 10-speed automatic as a side-cost option. Power is channeled exclusively through the two rear wheels.

Each Mondrian Edition pack adds $22,000 to the CT4-V Blackwing’s base MSRP. Like the “regular” Blackwing CT4-V, this model will be assembled at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
