Hop Onboard Ferrari F12 By Novitec For Top Speed Test On Autobahn

Novitec is known for producing some of the most extreme tuning packages for some of the world’s greatest supercars. The Ferrari F12 N-Largo makes no difference and is a hardcore version of its predecessor the 812 Superfast, the brand’s V12-powered grand tourer. While the main goal is to be comfortable and enjoyable on long journeys, the car is actually very, very fast. And we have a new video to prove it.

The clip attached at the top of this page is from AutoTopNL channel and shows us 1 of a total of 15 production examples of the F12 N-Largo in action. All footage comes from the vehicle’s onboard camera and there is a constant display from the instrument cluster showing the speed and current gear the car is currently engaged in. To some extent, this engine sounds almost like a Formula 1 car from the cockpit.

Powering the F12 by Novitec is a modified version of Ferrari’s 6.3-liter naturally aspirated engine, which in this application produces a peak output of 770 horsepower (574 kilowatts). Mated to a dual-clutch gearbox with F1-style gear paddles, the engine sends power to the rear wheels. Top speed, at least on paper, should be around 217 miles per hour (350 kilometers per hour) – it’s time to find out if cars can actually hit that mark.

At the beginning of the video, the driver is quickly catching up with traffic and must slow down and wait for the highway to clear. The video comes from the Autobahn where certain sections are still without speed limits despite discussions in recent years for an 81 mile (130 kph) cap. Still, more than a third of Germans want the Autobahn unrestricted, and thanks to that, we can still enjoy this F12-like monster from Novitec at over 186 mph (300 kph).

The top speed we see in this video is around 186 mph (300 kph), but the car feels easier. Unfortunately, autumn seems to be in full swing on the Autobahn and we may have to wait for a quieter time to see this supercar reach its top speed.
