November 14, 2022, will go down in history as the day when Lamborghini shares pictures of its last production car powered exclusively by a petrol engine. Prior to its public debut at Art Basel in Miami on November 30, the Huracan Sterrato was being previewed in fully exposed exterior design images. As expected, it doesn’t stray too far from its namesake concept that launched in June 2019.
The naturally aspirated V10 supercar keeps the chunky body cladding on the front and rear wheel arches and additional LED lights on the front bumper. It has lost the roof-mounted light bar from the previous concept, but is still more practical than the regular Huracan by having Sterrato-branded roof rails.

A beefy roof scoop has been added at the rear while the rear bumper diffuser has a new configuration that tends to increase the angle of departure. The visible suspension lift gives the Huracan Sterrato far more ground clearance than any other supercar out there. Lamborghini has also installed new black alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler tires to enhance all-terrain capability.
Also visible are chunky side skirts and underbody guards at the front and rear. this khaki paint (with satin lining?) also new to the Huracan lineup and has been combined with red body accents that extend to the brake calipers. Lamborghini intentionally left the fender flares unpainted to give off an off-road vibe, though we wouldn’t be too surprised if there would be an option to make them body-coloured.
We’ll have to wait until the end of the month for the technical specifications, but the Huracan Sterrato will come exclusively with all-wheel drive. The concept is 47 millimeters (1.85 inches) taller and has front and rear tracks that are 30 mm (1.18 inches) wider. In addition, Lamborghini increased the angle of approach by 1 degree and the angle of departure by 6.5 percent.
Starting in 2023, all Lamborghini product launches will be electrified to some extent, ahead of 2028 when Sant’Agata Bolognese plans to introduce its first EV as a 2+2 with two doors and raised suspension.
