The 2023 Cadillac Escalade White Sport Edition launches in Japan in late 2022, as a special limited edition of the iconic full-size luxury SUV. Only thirty black and white SUV models will be produced.
Based on the Sport trim, the Escalade White Sport Edition features an exterior finished with Crystal White Tricoat. Previously, these color options were limited to the Platinum model, and not offered on the Sport trim, which in turn is offered exclusively in Black Sable. The Escalade White Sport Edition retains the Sport’s blacked-out exterior accents, including the black mesh grille and trim pieces for a “fearless and strong personality,” according to a translated press release. The interior is finished in Jet Black with wood inserts.
The 2023 Cadillac Escalade White Sport Edition represents the top of the line luxury SUV model for the Japanese market. Priced at 18,000,000 JPY, or about $127,200 USD, it goes on sale on November 17th, 2022, and can be purchased through the luxury marque’s limited dealer network in Japan. It is important to note that the Escalade is not currently offered in a right-hand drive configuration in Japan.
Apart from that, buyers of the Escalade White Sport Edition can also take advantage of the Private Golf package, which includes one round with four professional female golfers.
Under the hood, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade White Sport Edition features a luxurious 6.2L V8 engine (production code L87), which develops 420 horsepower and 460 foot-pounds of torque and is currently the only powerplant available for the Escalade. In Japan. This engine is paired to Cadillac’s 10-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive as standard.
