All 275 wealthy people who signed their names on the dotted line to buy the One had no problem waiting for the production version because they knew they were getting a special car. It took AMG roughly five years from unveiling the concept to starting production of the F1-powered engine. The hypercar is already breaking records, and this new video shows what the electrified beast has achieved so far.
With a lap time of 1 minute 26.846 seconds, The One holds the record for being the fastest street legal vehicle around the Red Bull Ring. It takes 1:38.563 to cross the finish line in Hockenheim (Grand Prix layout) to set another record. His most popular honor has been for passing the Nürburgring Nordschleife in just 6:35.183, faster than any other car with license plates.

Getting here was not easy as there were many hurdles during development that engineers had to overcome.
