For Europeans in the market for a Mercedes-Benz EQS EV but don’t want it to look like a run-of-the-mill example, then the Manufacturing brand offering gives buyers additional personalization options. There is an exclusive touch to the interior and exterior.
There are nine exterior paint colors in the Manufacturing range for EQS: Diamond White, Hyacinth Red, Cote d’Azur Blue, Selenite Grey, Night Black, Silicon Grey, Rubellite Red, Kalahari Gold and Vintage Blue.

There is also an Interior Manufacturing Package to upgrade the cabin with better materials. Options include front and back seats in Nappa leather with diamond quilting. The same high-quality leather is on the steering wheel, door panel armrests, center console and underside of the instrument panel. The high pile floor mat has Nappa leather around the edges. Available colors include Rosé Grey, Deep White, Yacht Blue, Tobacco Brown and Mystic Red.
The Manufacturing Interior Package includes a few extra touches. There is an illuminated doorway plate. The Manufacturing logo appears in chrome on the center console.
If the customer doesn’t want a full interior upgrade, there’s the Emblem Package. It is available with a standard cabin with black seat upholstery and black carpeting. Updates include embroidered Mercedes-Benz stars on the head pillows and floor mats.
In the United States, EQS starts at $103,360 after a $1,050 destination fee. The AMG EQS is the highest class and starts at $148,550.
If sedans aren’t your style, Mercedes has the EQS SUV. It starts at $104,400, and costs up to $125,950 for the top-of-the-line 580 4Matic. A luxury version of the Maybach is currently under development and will be present later in the run model.
