2023 is almost upon us. Ducati, Yamaha, KTM, Honda, Aprilia at the start: here is the order of presentation.
Season MotoGP 2023 (already a record) is still a long way off, but there are stages of approach. The first ones will be official presentations of all the teams at the start in the next championship. Very many Announcements scheduled between brands, riders, jersey changes. Curiously Ducati it’s not the first on the list… But let’s see all the dates made official so far.
The starting order
The first name in the list is Yamaha, left with only two bikes for the 2021 MotoGP world champion Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli. After them we have an all Ducati hat-trick, starting with Gresini Racing with Fabio Di Giannantonio and Alex Marquez. Then here is the world champion team of Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini, returning to the beautiful setting of Madonna di Campiglio, ending with one of the few teams without changes, namely Pramac with Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin. January closes with KTM, which presents Brad Binder and Jack Miller, while the Repsol Honda Team of Marc Marquez and Joan Mir will lift its veils in February. March for Tech3 GasGas and RNF Team, three teams are still missing. These are Aprilia Racing, LCR Honda and VR46 Ducati, who have not yet disclosed their respective dates.
From Ducati to Aprilia, so many new features
The first to observe will certainly be Gresini Ducati, who has made sure Alex Marquez. A driver already smiling after the first tests in red, certainly one of the guys to watch in 2023. The same goes for Aeneas Bastianini, promoted to the factory team and determined to roar right away, as well as giving champion Bagnaia a hard time. News also in KTM with the arrival of Jack Miller, an interesting novelty for the next MotoGP season. How will he behave then Joan Mir at Honda? His predecessors didn’t shine, we’ll see what the 2020 world champion will do. Tech3 is completely renewed, here’s Pol Espargaro and rookie Augusto Fernandez with the GasGas colors (although the bike will remain a KTM RC16). Great news also for RNF: the collaboration with Aprilia begins, a brand new formation with Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandezcoming out of KTM.
