The allocation of money includes 5 million euros for non-electric vehicles and over 35 million for electric vehicles.
This difference in money allocated demonstrates how the Italian government is increasingly encouraging Italians to choose vehicles with low or no harmful emissions. The reservation for the ecobonus can be made directly by the concessionaires or sellers, at the express request of the customer. The Ecobonus provides – in general – a state contribution up to a maximum of 2,500 euros – by scrapping a motorized vehicle cataloged from Euro 0 to Euro 3. It will be 40%, if the purchase price is lower than this figure.
But that’s not all. Indeed, Suzuki also adds to this state bonus a promotion of another 1,000 euros, in the case of a used car delivered to a dealership. In practice, whoever decides to scrap a previous polluting vehicle will be able to benefit from a total bonus of 3,500 euros on the purchase of some specific motorcycle models.
But what are these models? The motorcycles of the Japanese brand, on which it will be possible to take advantage of the state incentive and further promotion, are the GSX-S1000, there V-Strom 650 and the V-Strom 1050XT/PRO.
