One-Off Bugatti Chiron Profileée Shows Spectacular Paris Touring

There won’t be many opportunities to see the Bugatti Chiron Profilée in real life. Bugatti only built one, but a new video from YouTube channel TFJJ captures the car on its recent Paris tour. The video shows Bugatti once in front of the Eiffel Tower at night, the iconic structure lit up before taking the car out for a look at the famous city.

Bugatti designed the one-off Profilée for customers who wanted a model that fell somewhere between the regular Chiron and the Pur Sport. Development began in late 2020, but will never see series production as the company sold 500 build slots for the Chiron and its variants. However, the company continued to work on the model and finalize it.

The Chiron Profilée packs Bugatti’s quad-turbocharged W16 engine, producing a solid 1,476 horsepower. The supercar can sprint up to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in 2.3 seconds and complete a run of up to 124 mph (200 kph) in just 5.5 seconds. It could reach 236 mph (380 kph) given enough space. It has stiffer springs and a rear axle with more negative camber than the Pur Sport.

The one-off Chiron also featured a unique design. A larger air intake adorns the front, setting it apart from the regular model. They sit atop a redesigned front splitter that increases front axle downforce. Bugatti designers even enlarged the horseshoe grille while finishing the exposed carbon fiber body in Bleu Royal Carbon. The car even received unique painted wheels that are not available on any other Chiron. Bugatti used over 2,500 meters of leather strips to give the cabin a woven leather finish.

The auto industry has its fair share of one-off vehicles thanks to the advent of special commissions. The bespoke brand works closer to the customer than ever before, and Bugatti designed the Profilée at the customer’s request is hardly surprising. Mulliner, bespoke outfitter Bentley, has seen demand for custom paint finishes double while private commissions triple. Bugatti will auction the car on February 1 through RM Sotheby’s.
