Tyshawn Jones is a professional skateboarder who became the youngest person to win Thresher Skater magazine award twice. He recently showed off his skills by performing an ollie – a jump – in a rare Ferrari Monza SP2. Jones called him a “5 million dollar Ollie” on Instagram in reference to the vehicle’s alleged value.
Jones makes the stunt look easy. He hovered over the Ferrari and cleared the SP2’s cockpit by inches. Watch the jump, below.
Jones credited record executive Steven Victor for “trusting” him, pointing out that the entertainment mogul had a pearl-colored SP2. Jones also suggested Ferrari hire him as a brand ambassador.

Working with the Italian automaker may have worked because Jones already had experience working with big brands. For example, he has partnership with Adidas. His Hardies Hardware brand recently collaborated with major streetwear company Supreme.
The two-seat Monza SP2 and single-passenger SP1 debuted in 2018 as the first models in the Icona brand’s sub-range. Both models feature a retro-modern styling that evokes the Italian brand’s sports cars from the 1950s. Their basis comes from 812 Superfast.
Neither model has a decent windshield. Instead, Ferrari created a “Virtual Wind Shield” to channel airflow to passengers while providing an unobstructed view outside the cockpit.
The SP1 and SP2 pack a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that produces 809 horsepower. Both lightweight roadsters reach 62 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds and reach 124 mph in 7.9 seconds. Ferrari cites their top speed at just over 186 mph.
Ferrari built fewer than 500 examples of the SP1 and SP2. So even looking at it is special. Letting a skateboarder, even a professional, ollie on a rare machine requires a very trusting owner.
In 2021, Jones posted several videos showing him jumping over a Mercedes (seen below). The action is slightly less impressive than the Ferrari SP2 ollie as Jones is in the raised loading dock, and the car is underneath. The setup means he doesn’t need to pass through vehicle height like the Monza SP2.
